Since high school, makeup has been one of my favorite ways of expressing myself and exercising my creativity in a way that fit into my daily schedule. However, as college became more time-consuming and stressful, I gave up my morning makeup time in favor of a few more minutes of sleep. Playing with makeup during first-wave quarantine was a refreshing return to my roots.
